A campfire-cooked dinner is an essential part of every camping experience. Food cooked across a fire has an incomparable smokey flavor. If you’re concerned about spending an excessive amount of time in the kitchen, there are lots of quick and simple meals you may create. Examples include foil package meals, which may be prepared in minutes by heating them over a campfire.
Here are some delicious camping meals that may be prepared in foil packets:
Simple Chicken and Vegetables
Required Items
Ingredients: 1 cup of sliced fresh mushrooms 1/2 kilogram of boneless, skinless chicken breast
Preparation: 4 peeled little potatoes, 4 cloves of garlic, 2 onions, 1 seeded and sliced red bell pepper.
Pepper, one yellow, seeded, and cut lengthwise
Juice from one lemon
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, About a Quarter Cup
Pepper and salt to taste.
A big bowl should be used to combine the chicken, mushrooms, potatoes. They grow garlic, onions, red bell pepper, and yellow bell pepper. Season both salt and pepper and then add the olive oil and lemon juice to the bowl. Toss to evenly distribute oil and liquid among chicken and veggies.
Pack the ingredients into four big aluminum foil packages. Fork-tender potatoes and fully cooked chicken take roughly 40 minutes over a grill or hot coals in a campfire. Take it away from the fire and let it cool for a while before serving.
Smoked Tilapia in a Mexican Style
Required Items
4 fillets of tilapia
Green pepper, one big, chopped
1 chopped and seeded jalapeo pepper
An Onion, About a Tablespoonful
1 (2-cup) can of chopped tomatoes.
A Half Cup of Olive Oil
One Tablespoon of Fresh Cilantro, Finely Chopped
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
Pepper and salt
In a big, resealable plastic bag at home, mix olive oil and garlic. Sprinkle some pepper on the fillets before placing them in the bag. Fish can be oiled by shaking the can. Put in the fridge to chill until use.
Each fillet should be wrapped in a sturdy piece of aluminum foil at the campground. Fill each fillet with bell pepper, jalapenos pepper, onion, tomatoes, and cilantro, then wrap it up in foil. For 10 minutes, or until fish becomes cooked through, cook over a preheated grill on a grill plate over a campfire, turning once. Serve hot.
